Africa’s Preparatory Meeting scheduled in Abidjan, Cote
d’Ivoire on 27-29 March 2006 in preparation for the 2nd Session of
the Regional Radiocommunication Conference (RRC-06) that will be
held in Geneva on 15 May-16 June 2006. (Circular/02-06)
The draft agenda of the meeting is given in
Annex 1
and its draft work program is shown in
Annex 2.
The meeting will come up with the draft African Common Proposals (AFCP)
that will be derived from the agenda of the RRC-06. The draft AFCPs
will then be circulated to Member States by ATU General Secretariat
for endorsement. The endorsed AFCPs will be sent to ITU as Africa’s
contribution for the Conference.
I look forward to seeing your attendance and active participation in
the Abidjan meeting.
