Submission of draft African Common Proposals as Africa’s contributions to the Second Session of the Regional Radiocommunication Conference

I am pleased to transmit to you draft African Common Proposals (AFCPs) as Africa’s contributions for the work of the second session of the Regional Radiocommunication Conference (RRC-2006). The Africa Region Preparatory Expert Group met in Abidjan on 27-29 March 2006 and drafted thirty eight (38) AFCPs. We have sent the AFCPs to African Countries for their endorsements. Meanwhile we are sending the draft AFCPs to you to facilitate translations into official languages of the Union. We shall submit the endorsements to you as soon as possible in order to validate the proposals into full AFCPs.

Kindly assign conference number to the document and arrange for its translation.
